I CAN HAZ INTRNTNL TRVL|
Had to renew my passport.
Photographer made me take off my glasses, it's some new rule or something.
PO checker said they might send it back coz of the galsses/no glasses change, since I hadn't had the photo wossnamed, but I thought I'd risk it as the mouth is very clearly identical.
New passport just delivered.
Looks nothing like me, of course.

I always manage to confuse immigration in the US... My passport photo doesn't show me wearing glasses, as normally I wear contacts. I don't like wearing my lenses during flights, it always feels like they are going to dry out or something, so I present at immigration in glasses. I've had to take them off before so the man can peer at me and make sure I'm the same person.
my passport photo has me unshaven and uncombed hair on the basis that when I am in airports that is exactly how I am going to look :-)
Last time I went to Leftpondia, they made me take my glasses off to photograph me at immigration. Well, that's not any use as a method if identification because I can't see more than 3 ft without them and would always be wearing them.
I really can't see the point of making people take off glasses which they habitually wear in an ID photo. Might as well make them all wear false noses!

Photographer? Coo, there's posh!
The booth at Morrison's was out of order. And I'd not have known about the no glasses thing if I'd doem it myself, either. And it was only a quid extra, and I got to fiddle with a Vox AC30 while I waited for him to print them. They go for crazy prices these days!

Blimey, only a quid extra? That's remarkably cheap, I'd have thought. And you got to play as well? Sounds like a Win to me.
My passport photo shows me in glasses, as does my driving licence one. Pointless being photographed without them, given that I wear them all the time. I wonder who came up with that barmy idea?

According to the UKPA it is "preferable" to remove glasses before being photographed, but it's acceptable to wear glasses as long as they aren't tinted and aren't positioned so as to obscure facial features.
Didjasee the latest offer in Teh Grauniad?
Rubik cube salt&pepper shakers (or maybe grinders)
20 quid though, and they don't actually work as Rubik cubes.

Cheaper to buy a couple of Rubik Cubes and 'doctor' them accordingly. And then buy a couple more, do the same.. and flog 'em for a silly amount of £.
