So, sampling the homebrew.
Tastes fine, but the priming hasn't worked in all the bottles and it's not cleared well.
Mind you we're really supposed to leave it somewhere cold for a bit, which might clear it, and maybe trying to express-lane-simulate that using the fridge has stopped it going POP when we take the lids off, rather than the priming having failed.

The parnsip is /still/ bubbling, albeit only about 1 bubble every couple of hours now. It can have another week in the airing cupboard then I'll rack it and put it away for a bit before bottling.

Think I'll bottle the second gallon of plum next week.

Bought some cinnaomn sticks for the mead I'll be making as soon as March actually begins.

If your, er, parsnip keeps bubbling, might I recommend a course of antibiotics?
