May madness
I'll not be doing a poll about what wine to make for May, as either the dandelions will be in season, or I'll do carrot AT LAST. Or something else seasonal from CJJB's book.
And need to do some more beer.
Keep seeing simple fast recipes for 'turbocider' though.
And still can't get the idea of using actual peas instead of just pods out of my head...

My mother made dandelion wine once. Having made it, she put it away in the recesses of the pantry and forgot about it. When it resurfaced some years later it was Very Nice.

Turbocide is an adjectival noun. You can't have "turbocider" and be grammatically correct, or GC, as we say these days.

fill gallon vessel to shoulder with lidl vita fit apple juice and a cup of strong tea. add one sachet of cider yeast. fit airlock, leave in kitchen for 10days (after 2 days, top up with more juice) bottle with 1/2 teaspoon suger, leave in kitchen for 5 days, chill then drink!!

Current Lidl pricing indicates that gets you a gallon of strong cider for 4 quid, at typical yeast price.
