Deal or no deal?
Digital freeview box - badged Setanta, but with the Setanta viewing card removed as it's now useless - at Asda for under 8 quid. Still works as a Freeview box obviously.

How much is it compared to a Top Up TV box? I'm sure you can get a top up card for some channels from somewhere.

AFAIK Top Up TV stopped issuing the cards a couple of years back; the only way it's now available is on those Thomson PVR boxes that they sell in Currys, many of which are notoriously badly built.

Eight quid for a Freeview box is a hell of a bargain though. Mind you, I've still got my old Philips OnDigital box attached to the telly in the bedroom and it's still going strong.
