On Friday - oldbloke's mutterings
I departed from my usual lamb something and rice and went for the special mized kebab on naan.

Sounds excellent. I'm very partial to Indian style kebabs, especially reshmee kebab as a starter.
A tandoori mixed grill with a garlic naan, and occasionally an aloo gobi on the side, is another favourite of mine, which our preferred local restaurant does very well indeed.

I won't try to claim it was Great Food, but it did me for 2 meals.
Apart from the fact they're pretty cheap anyway, our local tends to round down what they charge us coz we've used them almost weekly for yearsandyearsandyears.

Sounds excellent. We don't generally do Indian takeaway, preferring to sit down, but our local Chinese takeaway's portions are often enough for two meals.
Geoff and I have been regulars, albeit only monthly, at the Mohan
in Stevenage, and we get very good service; also they will cook us stuff that's not on their menu, which quite a lot of others won't do.
