Opened a few bottles of my attempt at a gluten-free beer tonight.
Quite pleasant. Looked, smelt, tasted like beer.
If I'd been less sloppy with the syphon there'd have been more than 4 bottles without 1/4" of yeast in the bottom, and next time I'll get the amount of priming sugar right.
I've not had any real beer with my curry tonight and I'm not missing it.
Will try the other recipe I have next, then have a go at modding them to make something more like a mild.
Sometime I'll try malting some millet to try a GF recipe that isn't centred round teabags.
