Fine words butter no parsnips
Just racked the parsnip. It's clear, it tastes quite pleasant, but I suspect it may want racking again sometime in the relatively distant future: it has a hint of effervescence and was still bublling, albeit incredibly slowly now. Wonder how strong it is? Didn't taste especially potent.
Don't really care, if it's a nice drink.

I thought of you when I opened the wine for dinner last night. It was a bottle of Cairn O Mohr's Autumn Oak wine. It was pleasantly dry and easy to drink.

Ah, oak leaf, have read about that. Was it good enough that you'd willingly drink/buy it again? I bet there are some oaks round here somewhere...

It was actually. It reminded me a little of chardonnay, but quite dry. I tend to go for Sauvignon whites, but the oak leaf wine was certainly not an unpleasant drink.
