gulp - oldbloke's mutterings
Disappointed to find it's not Huge's url, not that I can imagine him with a website.

How's this for a URL? (Yes, it really is one, if I haven't broken it in the pasting. Oh bah, LJ didn't like it. Here's
a tinyurl preview, but the point is to look at the url it expands to, and then go there!) My colleague Ian Stark wrote it, and gave a talk about it to which sadly I couldn't go.Edited at 2011-03-24 10:58 am (UTC)

Lovely long URL, yes.
The website itself... had me giggling. I didn't follow all the links, but did spend a happy couple of minutes finding page 42. Some people are so easily pleased! :)

Did you get the point, that the website *is* the URL? All those pages, their text, the picture, the navigation, is encoded in that URL. It's not just a pointer to somewhere on the web; you don't even need an internet connection to use it.

Oh! No, I didn't! I am a brain of very little bear, and thought it an amusing paper chase. Well, not a paper chase, 'cos there's no paper involved, but you know what I mean.
I don't fully understand, but... it's cleverer than I first thought.
