ManLab BoozeBong
Anybody else see Man Lab the other night?
Oz Clarke came up with an amazing invention....

1.5ltr PET with airpump fitted to a bung that fits the top. He had a car-tyre-stylee footpump but I migth try to find some more sanitary item.
Tot of whisky (or whatever) in PET, pump pressure into it (he did about 3 presses on the footpump, dunno what PSI he was getting)
Remove the bung and the sudden pressure drop boils/atomises the booze, which you can then breathe in.

This is probably not healthy (alcohol direct into the lungs!), but it was on the BBC so it can't be /too/ bad. All the peeps on the programme seemed to enjoy it.

I saw it, in a random bit of telly watching as it was working again but there wasn't anything on (of course). Looked interesting, I'm not a whisky fan but liked the principle. I also wondered whether it might help (or hurt) a chest infection *&)

I'm still working out what happens to the calories! Are they still there in the aerosol? They must be, mustn't they?!

Yes I saw it and was inspired! Expect to see nebulised whisky clouds (NWC's, nukes?) at a party near me soon!

I am reminded that it has been common practice for a while amongst medical students to put vodka in a nebuliser, to achieve the same effect. It seems a tried and tested technique.

I was slightly more inspired by the chicken brandy on The Bleak Old Shop Of Stuff last night.
